We are very excited to be pursuing intersectional gender equity as our Intergenerational Spring Seminar topic this year! With gender equity at the forefront of humanitarianism, we look forward to taking the discussion further as we compare and analyze gender equity beyond the mainstream in our panel discussions, workshops, worship, and keynotes.
This year, we will be holding conversations that may be uncomfortable but are critically important in our effort to promote the understanding of gender equity as more than just the white woman’s pay gap. We will take egalitarianism steps further by looking at the spectrum of gender and identities as well as the intersects of geography, nationality, ability, race, class, education, and sexuality alongside gender.
In doing this, we hope to unpack our inherent biases while learning how to push the boundaries of our comfort zones by learning how to advocate for women and non-binary people of all identities! We greatly look forward to growing with you, and we hope to see you at Equity in Action: Gender in an Intersecting World!
