Pageantry abounds, UUCM Tour, and The Meaning of Christmas?!…

PAGEANT!
Come and join in a celebration and exploration of the Light of Life winter holiday pageant on December 17 during both worship services!
Opportunities abound for all ages to participate in this multi-generational worship service.  Check out the sign up genius link RE Coordinator Iris De La Paz set up.  If you have a particular affinity for a certain winter holiday please sign up in the corresponding slot.  Or if you are more drawn to the particular color that is associated with that tradition, let that be the basis of your choice!  All are encouraged to wear one of the associated colors so as to make the sanctuary a rainbow of colors during the pageant.
Moreover, the Christmas component of the pageant can also include those who identify with any characters from the Nativity scene- angels, shepherd, wise men/women/persons, animals- howsoever you might identify with the Nativity, you can be part of the entourage!
We also welcome a wide range of voices to be narrators for both general narration and holiday specific narration.
We are aiming to keep things simple by having a one time rehearsal on December 16 from 11-1 p.m.
RE Coordinator Iris De La Paz and DRE Chris Buja will be taking names of interested participants this Sunday December 10- find them for any questions!

UUCM TOUR!
Dorothy Rodgers is happy to give a tour of UUCM’s historic building after both services on December 10.  All children, youth, and adults are welcome to learn more about how UUCM’s building came to be what they are today.  Look for Dorothy in the Narthex after services for the tour.

What Does Christmas Mean to You?…
We want to hear your response to that question and a few more Christmas questions ahead of UUCM’s Christmas Eve services.  We want to hear a cross section of answers from children, youth, and adults.
If you’d like to share your response, we will be ready to record answers in the Alliance Room at 10 a.m. and in Mortensen Room at 11 a.m.
Here are some other questions for reflection that you might answer as part of our video recording montage:

What is your favorite part of Christmas?
What is more important, giving or receiving gifts?
What do you like about receiving gifts?
What do you like about giving gifts?

What is Christmas all about?  What does Christmas mean to you?
