Our Planned Giving Campaign which we announced earlier this year, will help to insure and protect the financial strength of our congregation both today and in the future. The campaign to build our endowment through Planned Giving is now underway.
The Shelter Rock Congregation on Long Island has funded a special Planned Giving Matching Program going on until June of 2020. For every dollar put into a future planned gift (a direct bequest, a charitable trust or other charitable gift, a living trust, or a beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy or retirement plan) they will MATCH that gift 10% today up to a maximum of $10,000.
If you have already done some planned giving for the congregation that will allow us to take advantage of this match, you should be in touch with Judy Lutzy ASAP to take advantage of the matching opportunity. This gift will be kept in complete confidence unless you would like to receive recognition which will encourage others to come forward or to do their own planning.
