Our Sharing Our Riches October recipient will be the UNICEF USA. In light of recent natural disasters, the Sharing Our Riches committee modified our plans, which initially intended funds for Hurricane Harvey victims for 2 months to one month (September), and designated UNICEF USA’s initiatives in Puerto Rico, as the October recipient. 90% of every dollar spent by UNICEF goes directly to helping children, and they are mobilizing to get immediate, critical support to the children in the region affected by Hurricane Maria.
