Exploring BLUU Group

Have you heard of BLUU?? Black Lives of UU (BLUU) is for all people connected to Unitarian Universalism that identify* as Black. We invite you to join us for an Exploring BLUU Meeting on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 6:00 PM to learn more about the BLUU Collective, connect and support each other in our shared and unique experiences as UUs of Color. For those who do not identify as black or a person of color, we invite you to join the URC & Intern Ministry Committee for a May 2020 Listening Session to learn more about our Intern Ministry’s Focused Initiatives to empower and support members in dismantling systems of oppression through BLUU, DRUMM and ARE. During this time of global challenge, groups like these are especially needed. Please contact Intern Minister Antonia Bell-Delgado at intern@uumontclair.org for more information.

*Identity is a deeply personal and sensitive subject for many of our members and we are committed to creating and maintaining safe and supportive space for our diverse communities.
