Clean Ocean Action is a leading voice in working to protect waterways using science, law, research, education, and citizen action. They identify and target pollution sources, thereby improving the water off the New Jersey and New York coast. COA’s work is grand and local; it includes establishing the nation’s first Clean Ocean Zone, and organizing regular beach sweeps to clean waterways in nearly every New Jersey county.
