Religious Education Looking Forward – January 2016

Hello all!

I’m your new Religious Education Coordinator, Iris DeLaPaz. I’m a recent graduate of Montclair State University and an enthusiastic new staff member of this congregation. I’ve gained experience in leadership through Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority and Girl Scouts of America and hope to use those skills here.

One of our UU values is that we believe that all people should be treated with justice, equality and compassion. We will reflect on these values with an uncharacteristic two Children’s Chapel this month, focusing on Kwanzaa and Undoing Racism.  Continuing with the theme of compassion for others, our Senior Youth Group will also be partaking in Peer Chaplain Training during the weekend of January 8th.

For Your Calendars
