The Board of Trustees kicked off 2020 with a lot of energy! You are probably already hearing about important events and opportunities coming your way, including:
· The Annual Pledge Drive kicking off in early February to fund our next program year (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021). We say this every year because it is true: your early pledge will help the Board have the info needed to draft the budget.
· Team leaders have been invited to provide budget input using the Budget Request Form. Again, the ability to complete this quickly will help the Board with the budgeting process.
· Providing input to the draft Strategic Plan on Sunday, March 1 at the Town Hall meeting.
In addition to these activities, the Board continues to be committed to being open, available, and transparent in our activities. The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 in the Peierls Room; meetings are open to members of the congregation. At the start of the meeting, there is a 10-minute period set aside for member questions and/or comments. The remainder of the meeting (unless the Board is in executive session) will remain open for observation only.
