Join us for our Fletcher’s Listening Room Concert with Helen Gillet on May 23, 2025. Helen Gillet is a musician, composer, cellist, singer, improviser and looping artist. Her concerts are akin to a surrealist-archeologist exploring synthesized sounds, texture, and rhythm using an acoustic cello.

Election, as it is known in political terms, is the work of a democracy. Election theologically is something quite different. It is the idea that God predestined some to receive the divine grace of salvation while relegating others to sin and punishment. Our worship service, in the wake of a challenging political election, will inspire hope in the Unitarian and Universalist theologies that, counter to the doctrine of election, see potential, grace, and salvation as inherent for every soul. Craig Mierop
John and Lauren Carlton wish to light a candle for our dear friend, Craig Mierop, who died this past weekend. Craig was kind, creative, intelligent and crazy funny. Hours and hours of conversations were shared every week about philosophy, families, world history, art and so much more. His death leaves a deep, wide hole. We hope the embrace of our good friends here helps us get through.
