Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Micah Desiante
This is another candle of Joy from Micah Desiante who is appointed the legislative action team chair of the Paterson Education Association and will also have a seat on the PEAPAC committee. He's bringing his folding chair to the table to make sure we preserve education and restore democracy.
Just Us and Micah Desiante
This is a candle of joy for the city of Just Us and Micah Desiante. The city of Just Us is the Civics education and social justice club Micah's students started last year and finally launched the Vote 16 Paterson campaign this past Friday while they followed Newark's lead in securing youth voting in school board elections. We intend to outdo them in our fight for equity.
