Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Irving Bronstein
David Bronstein and Nikki Kean lit a candle of healing for Irving Bronstein, David’s father, who is still recovering from a bout of sepsis and now is grieving the loss of his beloved wife of 66 years.

Remembrance Day
We light a candle in solemn recognition of Remembrance Day. On February 19th in 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave the U.S. Army the authority to remove civilians from the military zones established in Washington, Oregon, and California during WWII. This led to the forced removal and incarceration of some 120,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry for simply having the “face of the enemy.”
