Samhain — three aspects; one holiday and…Halloween
Samhain is a one of a kind holiday. The only holiday that I know of in any religion that has three aspects. However, there are probably other religions that have holidays with at least three aspects that I don’t know about yet.
Earth Day in September…well, yes, every day
I have been saying this for at least 10 years now that every day is Earth Day. Finally, someone else figured it out too. On Sunday, Sept. 21, while many Pagans were gathering for Mabon rituals, we were also celebrating Sun Day.
Where I am from and where I am now
I thought long and hard about this and whether or not I wanted to share my poem. This explains a lot about my early years. It peers into how I came to be where I am today. However, it is only a small glance into my life.
Gut instincts — when you must listen
So, I was talking with my elder, the Rev. Foxxy (Sher) Pullen this past week about my weekend. She suggested I revisit my gut instinct story because as she put it, “it’s a very important topic.” I was thinking long and hard about this and yes, this is a great idea, especially since my almost incident.
