Claudia Sanders lit a candle for Lydia Thornton, chair of New Jersey Prison Justice Watch, who died last Sunday after several weeks in the hospital. Lydia was kind and gentle and worked tirelessly for the humane treatment of incarcerated people. She will be greatly missed for her dedication, beautiful spirit and compassion.
