John has been a UUCM member since 1999. John and his wife have two daughters, Bonnie and Jade. John lives in Montclair, just a 15 minute walk from the congregation. Like many other UUCM families, when their oldest child was very young they began searching for a different religious home than theirs. That search brought their family to UUCM. Both of John’s daughters benefited from UU RE from Pre-K through Senior Youth. For many of those years, John was a RE teacher. 2022 is his twelfth year as a UUCM MESH Cafe volunteer, a ministry that he has found both rewarding and challenging. John is a graduate of Harvest the Power program.

Outside of the UUCM, John has been active in volunteer activities related to youth soccer and adoption. For most of his career, John was a software developer at Citibank. He specialized in management and account profitability reporting with an especially strong understanding of commercial loan operations. Both John and his wife are now retired.
