Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Rev. Betty Bailey
Wendy McNeil lit a candle for the Rev. Betty Bailey. Betty served as interim pastor at Union Congregational Church and was the first woman to pastor at that church and she worked to secure peace and dignity for the Palestinian people. She died on February, 17, 2021. This light shines for her.
Beth McGrain
We lit a candle for Beth McGrain. Her mother died on February 9, 2021 and her father is recovering from Covid. May this candle bring warmth to Beth in this time of loss.
