Reflections on the Kite and the String

Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary student Charles Loflin is taking a class called “Designing Sensory Rich Worship for Changing Times.” That class explores ways to create engaging worship experiences that appeal to all of our senses to engage our full selves in the experience. As a requirement for the class, Charles needs to submit a video-tape of an alternative worship service using some of the techniques presented in the class. Join us on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 7:30 PM in Fletcher Hall. This service will use the imagery of a kite and string as symbols that can represent our need to soar among the clouds while simultaneously knowing that we are grounded to the tunings that support us. Come be a part of this family friendly service in Fletcher Hall and experience a “Balloon Ritual” first-hand!
