Religious Education Looking Forward – November 2017

From Iris DeLaPaz, Religious Education Program Coordinator

I hope you all have a fun, safe, and Happy Halloween! We had a very interesting October; we will be exploring Dia de los Muertos on October 29th following it up with special spooky coffee hour! Now that Halloween is almost over it’s time to talk about the HOLIDAY PAGEANT. Wait…what? Yes, the holiday pageant!  At this point we are looking for adult volunteers who are interested in stepping up and taking a role in the pageant, whether it is costume or set design, directing, or writing the script. If you’re interested email me at recoord@uumontclair.org.

Speaking of ways to get involved with the Religious Education program, we asked all families in the beginning of the year to agree to contribute to the R.E. program in at least ONE way. Your family can contribute by being a lead teacher or assisting in ANY classroom at least FIVE times.  If you haven’t already, please take a moment to sign-up as an assistant for a couple of dates. If you’re interested in becoming a lead teacher, please feel free to reach out to me.  It takes all of us to have a fruitful and successful program.
