As we welcome the congregational year, I want to express my deep thanks for the trust you have placed in the Board of Trustees. We have a caring and capable Board, full of love and energy, and we are anxious to help the Congregation do its important work and manage the exciting transitions that face us in the next few years.
We start the year holding Rev. Ortman, his wife Judy, their daughter Laura and son-in-law Ed in our thoughts and prayers as they face the ongoing challenges of Ed’s recent injuries after he was hit by a car. It is a good time also to keep in mind what we can do to assist and care for those near to and far from us, and to evaluate our place in the community and world as we strive to live our faith.
