Religious Education Looking Forward – April 2015

Every Sunday in RE, our children and youth take part in lessons which promote and practice the principles we hold dear. During April, in particular, opportunities abound to live out our values and celebrate our faith. I encourage you not to miss a minute!

Religious Education wants you! Most importantly this month, we start planning for the 2015/2016 program year and we need your help!  The sooner we have our children registered and our teachers assigned the better!

Join us at the RE table in Fletcher Hall during coffee hours!  Sign up to help out in RE: teaching, special event participation including Dia de los Muertos, the Holiday Craft Fair, the Holiday Pageant and more.  Register for RE.  If you have registered this past year, all you have to do is update your household’s personalized and prefilled-in registration form.  If you are new to the program ask questions and register your family so they are all set to start classes in the fall. It’s easy!  You can also find detailed curriculum information and register online at:  http://www.uumontclair.org/re/register/.

This year’s curriculum includes a combination of bound and online materials. We will make them available for review at the RE table, but you can also go to the UUA website at http://www.uua.org/re/tapestry.
