The Undoing Racism Committee at UUCM is heading up Social Justice Sunday on January 14, 2018! Rev. Scott and Rev. Anya have asked us to create an action in which the entire congregation can participate. At our Dec meeting, we decided to conduct a letter writing campaign to NJ representatives to continue our support of #150YearsIsEnough, the campaign to close juvenile correctional facilities and create community-based alternatives (http://www.njisj.org/150_years_is_enough). All can participate in this action. Please review slots and sign up for a volunteer task. Please join us that morning for this important UUCM activity.

URC’s January meeting will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 12:15 to 1:45 PM in the Alliance Room. We will assess the continuation of the #150YearsIsEnough action-campaign, plan for the March 18 jazz program, consider Feb programming, discuss follow-up and activism for the Poor People’s Campaign.
