Annual UU Auction

The Auction is our single largest fundraising event and its success depends on the enthusiastic turnout we always have. Donate, Bid, bring Food, Volunteer-most important is your Presence!  It’s an awesome night of commUUnity, good cheer and fundraising for the Congregation.

Our 2019 Auction is Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 5:30-9:30!

Grab your tie dye, let down your hair and drop in to the hippiest party of the year.

Not only is the auction the biggest fund-raiser of the year, it is the largest community-building event in the congregation.  Not only is the party itself a great time, but the events and gatherings offered present great opportunities to get to know each other outside of Sunday mornings.

Here’s how you can participate:

VOLUNTEER: A successful auction is a group endeavor and a wonderful service opportunity. Please consider how you might help by bringing food, assisting and the ever-popular cleanup. And if you have a COAer, this is a great opportunity to get service hours. Contact David Bronstein ( for COA service opportunities. Sign up to volunteer at: .

DONATE: One of the best ways to connect is to offer your own event, service or contribution to a gift basket. For ideas about how you can contribute to a gift basket contact Francesca Elms ( To donate visit the Auction website to offer your donation and look at all the great items (including yours!) that will be open for bidding. WHAT IF I HAVE A LIMITED BUDGET? While the auction is a fundraiser, it is also a community event in which everyone should be able to participate. If you have concerns about your ability to participate please contact Reverend Scott. Another good way to enjoy the community is to offer a party or service yourself, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. And, of course, the Auction event itself is free, so you can just come and have a good time that night. For ideas about parties please see our guide or contact Nick Lewis ( and Christian Turek (

THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT We intend to have lots of fun. We also want to make sure all our guests enjoy themselves and feel safe. So come and plan on having some good food and drink, while remembering that this is an All-Congregation event in our sacred space. There are many among us who do not drink alcohol or are in recovery, so we will assure they feel welcome and cared for.

CHILDCARE: Your children will be entertained while you have fun. Children can participate in UU Kidstock with Rachel Kohn at 5:30 PM for 3 hours of peace and music. There will be an open mic where kids get to sing and play music of their choice. RSVP at:
