UU FaithAction NJ

UU FaithAction NJ is a successor to the UU Legislative Ministry of NJ and is an organization, made up of the congregations across the state of New Jersey, which fight for UU values in Trenton and beyond. We have reached our tenth year of representing and organizing UU congregations in important areas of social action and have expanded our reach by adding a legal advocacy arm and by increasing our educational outreach. FaithAction is the only state-wide UU organization in New Jersey and is working to unify UUs across the state under the umbrella of social action.

You can  get more information about the work of the FaithAction by going to the FaithAction website. You can also contact our FaithAction liaison, Georgiana Hart or the FaithAction President, Tim Catts

The UU FaithAction NJ Immigration Justice Task Force will be visiting us on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in our Sanctuary to discuss ways we can help the vulnerable migrant communities in our area. Given ongoing ICE crackdowns, the UUFANJ is building a New Jersey Statewide Immigration Network and would like our help. Learn more about how you can help protect the dignity and worth of our migrant neighbors in crisis. Other Northern NJ UU congregations are invited to join this meeting as well. Please RSVP to Clara Haignere at chaignere@gmail.com.
