UU Men’s Group
The UUCM Men’s Group meets monthly to discuss what is important in our lives with spirit, depth, and humor in a confidential environment.
Recently we helped co-sponsor the URC Women’s Month Jazz Brunch and held our annual retreat at Murray Grove. At the retreat we had many good discussions about male identity and stereotypes, which helped us decide to be more intentionally inclusive. As a result, we are updating our invitation: if you identify as male, you are welcome to bring your full self to our meetings and share your story. We are also looking to connect with out groups at the U.
Meetings are the second Saturday of the month in the Alliance Room from 8:30 to 10:30 AM . Coffee and snacks are provided.
If you are interested in exploring connections between your group and the Men’s Group, or if you are interested in joining our group, Contact Christian Turek (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
The Second Annual Joint Men’s Group Meeting was held on Saturday April 8, 2017. The meeting including our UU Men’s Group along with Rev. Dr. Justin S. Osterman and men from the Islamic Center of Passaic County, including Imam Qatanani.
