UU Marketplace

Did you know that the CommUUnity Marketplace sells gift cards that you can use at Shoprite and Kings grocery stores? Please stop by to purchase (cash or check only, please) gift cards in varying amounts. Shopping with gift cards helps the congregation make money while not taking any additional money from you. Buying a $50 gift card costs you the same amount, $50, and you can use that gift card at the store on your regular grocery shopping trip. Why not make purchasing, then using gift cards a part of your regular grocery shopping routine? Please take this simple step to support our congregation’s programming. If you can, please make purchasing gift cards from UU Marketplace during coffee hour part of your regular habit to help our congregation support its programming.

Have you seen the lovely artwork that is featured by local artists during coffee hour? Artists make a mere $25 donation to the congregation and receive a spot for several months at coffee hour where they can sell their items. We are always looking for local artists/artisans who would be interested in participating, so if you know anyone who creates art or makes crafts, soaps, music, clothes, etc., we’d love to have them connect with us.

The UU Marketplace committee is trying to recruit additional members. Members simply commit to one hour of volunteer service each month. If you have been thinking about getting involved at church but feel you just don’t have time, this might be the committee for you.
