Human Needs Food Pantry

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair has continued its close support of the Human Needs Food Pantry (HNFP). Three UU Montclair members serve on the board of the Pantry. Special support came from the following:

  • a special monetary collection at Thanksgiving, Souper Bowl Sunday collection
  • regular food collections on the second Sunday of the month

The Pantry serves upwards of 250 families each week, including over 100 home deliveries. The Pantry is now located in its new quarters at 9 Label Street (opposite the Motor Vehicle Bureau) in Montclair. For more information, please contact Bob New (973-731-5011) or the Pantry (973-746-4669).
