Directions
From the East:
Take Route 3 West to the Grove St./Montclair exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Grove St. Take Grove St. for appromixmately 4 miles, passing traffic lights at Bellevue Ave., Watchung Ave., Walnut St., and Glenridge Ave. Turn right onto Bloomfield Ave., go past four traffic lights and turn left at the fifth light onto Park St. Go one block and turn right onto Church St. The church is immediately past the parking lot on your right.
From the West:
Take Route 46 East to Valley Rd./Montclair exit (you will be at the point where Rt. 46 meets Rt. 3). The exit ramp will feed you into Valley Rd. going south. Continue on Valley Rd. for approximately 3 miles. Just after you cross Bloomfield Ave. in Montclair, Valley Rd. ends at a small fountain encircled by a traffic circle. The church is immediately to your left. There is a parking lot immediately to the right of the church.
From the North:
Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 151 (Watchung Ave.) Turn right at the end of the ramp. Continue to the intersection of Watchung Ave. and Park St. South (just behond the railroad overpass). Turn left and continue on Park St. for about 1 mile. Cross Bloomfiled Ave. The first right is Church St. The church is immediately past the parking lot on your right.
From the South:
Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 148 (Bloomfield Ave.). Follow signs after exit toll to Bloomfield Ave., holding to the left lane. In order to get on Bloomfield Ave. in the direction of Montclair, you will first cross Bloomfield Ave. and then make a U-turn just beyond in designated left lane. Follow Bloomfield Ave. to Montclair town center, a distance of approximately 2 miles. As you climb hill, look for signs for Park St. (cue: Park St. comes just after Fullerton Ave.). Turn left at Park St. Take the next right at Church St. The church is immediately past the parking lot on your right.
From New York City by Bus:
Enter Port Authority closer to 41st Street, as opposed to the more uptown entrance nearer to 42nd Street.
Go to DeCamp ticket window on the ticketing concourse and ask for ticket(s) for the #33 to Church Street in Montclair. You cannot board bus without prior purchase of a ticket.
After purchasing tickets, go upstairs to gate 413 to board bus. You can get to gate 413 by escalator or elevator. The elevators are located closer to the entrance of the building and the escalators are in the center of the building.
Ticket price is $5.95 one-way, or $11.90 for a round trip (as of March 2006).
Parking in Montclair:
Parking is permited on the street and is free atfter 6:00 pm. There are six parking areas within easy walking distance of the church: 1) Next door to the church; 2) the Board of Education lot off Valley Rd. near Church St.; 3) the Valley Rd. lot at the corner of Bloomfield Ave.; 4) the Crescent Deck south of Bloomfield Ave.; 5) the parking deck between Park St., and North Fullerton Ave.; and 6) Maple Plaza, off Bloomfield Ave. between Park St. and Midland Ave.
