The purpose of the Alliance is to promote freedom and clearness of thought in matters of religious beliefs, stimulate the social life, assist in promoting the material prosperity, and aid in the benevolent work of the Church.
UUCES is a Unitarian Universalist ministry sponsored by the NJ Area Council in coordination with the Northern Area Council of UU Societies. The UU Metro District and the UUA recognize it. For information about UUCES educational programs call Fred Ward.
Leslie Trawin, a UUCES staff counselor, is a psychotherapist, art therapist, and artist. She has worked in several clinical settings, including the Irvington Mental Health Center, The Harbor, and at Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled Program, and Pollak Hospital. Leslie has experience in individual, marital, family, and group therapy. You can call her to arrange afternoon or evening counseling sessions at the church.
